Returns Policy:

As part of our continued efforts to maintain high standards in all departments, Tow-Trust have now introduced a new returns policy in an attempt to reduce the problems caused to both the manufacturer and the purchaser by the return of goods.  In order for this process to run smoothly, Tow-Trust has issued some guidelines that will take effect from Monday January 4th 2010.

In all cases may we start by asking customers who require the return of goods to please ensure they advise us beforehand.

Return of damaged / faulty goods or goods sent incorrectly by Tow-Trust

  • Following purchase of your goods, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to immediately check upon receipt that they are not damaged, faulty or incorrect in any way.
  • Please can all customers be aware that upon receipt of goods via our courier’s, should they be damaged or incomplete in any way as a result of transport to you, it is the responsibility of the customer to sign for it as ‘damaged’.  Not signing for goods as ‘damaged’ will effectively leave Tow-Trust powerless to claim for damages and therefore result in Tow-Trust being unable to replace the goods free of charge to the customer or issue a full credit.
  • In the rare instance that the goods you have received are damaged, faulty or incorrect due to manufacturer error, a replacement or credit will be issued by Tow-Trust.

Return of unwanted / incorrectly ordered goods due to customer error

  • Should any goods that have been received from Tow-Trust be deemed unwanted by the purchaser, but be correct in manufacture and supply, then the purchaser will have 30 days to return the goods for credit. This also applies for any goods ordered by the purchaser in error.
  • The purchaser is required to inform Tow-Trust prior to the return of goods.  The purchaser must have the sales invoice number that the goods they wish to return relates to.
  • Goods that are to be returned after the 30 day return period has surpassed will only be accepted by prior agreement with Tow-Trust and solely at Tow-Trust’s discretion. Tow-Trust holds the right to refuse returns after this 30 day period.
  • Please note that the return of goods is the responsibility of the purchaser unless prior agreement has been made with Tow-Trust.It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to make sure that any items returned to Tow-Trust are complete.
  • Tow-Trust can alternatively arrange for the collection of goods at a cost borne by the purchaser. In this instance it is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the item is packaged in a way to guarantee that the item is returned complete.
  • Where goods are required for return at no fault of Tow-Trust, there will be a MINIMUM re-stocking charge of £10 per towbar received back.Upon receipt of returned goods Tow-Trust will complete a thorough check to ensure the quality of the product is the same as when sold.  This check will ensure that the goods have been returned complete and in a re-saleable condition.
  • Tow-Trust reserve the right to deduct a further amount from any credit issued should the product returned be deemed incomplete or in less than new condition that then requires any remedial or re-packaging work to be carried out by Tow-Trust.A credit will be issued to customers when the returned goods are considered complete and in a re-saleable condition.
